Welcome to the ministries of Calvary Baptist Church!
We are thankful for the many opportunities God has given us to serve, grow, and fellowship together. From children and youth ministries to Sunday Schools, outreach, and special events, there are many wonderful ways to get involved, encourage others, and be a blessing as we serve the Lord together.
Sunday Schools
At Calvary Baptist Church, we offer Sunday School classes for every age group with a focus on Biblical teaching, Christian fellowship, and spiritual growth.
Adult Sunday School
The adult class facilitates a deeper study of biblical principles. Our class ranges from single graduates and young married couples, to those who have just started raising children, those who are almost finished raising children, and those who are retired. The class uses Bible examples to help those in attendance navigate the challenges presented in each of these stages of life. We seek to encourage all members of the class to be a consistent Christian example for the generations who are following behind.
Youth & Teen Class (Ages 11–18)
Our youth and teen class is a time of fun, building friendships, and most importantly, spiritual growth. Through Biblical teaching and engaging activities, young people are encouraged to grow in their walk with the Lord.
Children’s Class (Ages 4–10)
Our children’s class is a fun and exciting time filled with Bible stories, Christ-centered lessons, and teaching on a child’s level to help young hearts learn and grow.
Nursery (Ages 0–3)
Nursery is provided during our Sunday School time for children ages 0–3, offering a safe and caring environment for our youngest attendees.
The O.W.L.S.
Older Wiser Loving Seniors
O.W.L.S. Ministry (Older, Wiser, Loving Seniors)
The O.W.L.S. ministry at Calvary Baptist Church is made up of those ages 50 and older and their spouses. This wonderful group enjoys special get-togethers throughout the year filled with food, fellowship, laughter, and encouragement.
The O.W.L.S. are also a tremendous blessing to our church family and especially to our youth ministry. They faithfully assist with fundraisers, support church activities, and encourage the next generation through their kindness, wisdom, and servant's hearts.
Youth Group
Age 11-18
Our youth ministry at Calvary Baptist Church is led by our Pastor and Mrs. Charlotte Cooper. Along with our weekly Sunday School class, we host many exciting activities throughout the year designed to help young people build friendships, have fun, and grow spiritually.
Some of our youth activities include Nerf wars, youth game nights, pizza nights at the preacher’s house, scavenger hunts, and many other special events. We also look forward each summer to Junior Camp and Senior Camp, where many lasting memories are made and lives are impacted for Christ.
King's Kids
Wednesday Night @ 7 PM

King’s Kids is a fun and engaging children’s ministry that includes Bible morals and stories, games, memory verses, and Kids Club activities. It is designed to help children learn God’s Word in an enjoyable and
age-appropriate way while building a strong foundation of faith.
Men's and Ladies' Ministries
At Calvary Baptist Church, our Men’s and Ladies’ ministries provide meaningful opportunities for fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual growth throughout the year.
Men’s Ministry
Our men gather once a month for a Men’s Prayer Breakfast—a special time of food, fellowship, and prayer. It is a strengthening time of encouragement as men come together to seek the Lord and build one another up in the faith.
Ladies’ Ministry
Our ladies enjoy various gatherings throughout the year filled with fellowship, encouragement, and Christ-centered activities. One of the highlights of the year is the Ladies’ Retreat, where the ladies travel out of state for a refreshing time of spiritual growth, connection, and renewal.
Need For Revival Ministries
Need for Revival Ministries, led by Brother Jonathan and Mrs. Elizabeth Cooper, is a ministry dedicated to strengthening local churches and encouraging believers across the country. We are thrilled to have them serving alongside us here at Calvary Baptist Church.
Their ministry is centered around evangelism through Christ-honoring music and Bible preaching, while also providing practical help to churches in need. From assisting struggling congregations and encouraging pastors, to piano repair and sound system installation, Need for Revival Ministries seeks to be a blessing wherever the Lord opens the door.
A special burden of the ministry is helping church plants and churches in the early stages of growth. Whether it is offering hands-on assistance, encouragement, or simply being a help to pastors and congregations, they have a heart to serve and strengthen churches for the glory of God.
